Here then are the forms embedded in the title, painting, and improvised composition enveloping each track of our third album, Canon's Crossbow. These tracks are focused explorations of texture, where we reimagine the evocative capabilities of the piano and laptop beyond the percussing of keys. Let sonic origins and boundaries be blurred.

ARBORANCE is the rooting and branching of sonic seedlings cultivated extemporaneously from prepared piano and extended vocals (Susan Kuo) and live electronics (Brian Riordan).

Parts of these soundscapes were inspired by and have been used in creating the film score for Helene's Story, directed by Tatiana Istomina (tatianaistomina.com/helene.html).
