The sonic seed has been planted. It sprouts forth from the undulating keys of the piano and of the computer. Let its stalk stretch skyward, silken and stately, supple and strung, in ARBORANCE's inaugural sequence of electroacoustic soundscapes.

A number of these branchings have been arranged for and embedded in our musical score for Tatiana Istomina's upcoming film, Helene's Story (tatianaistomina.com/helene.html). In the forthcoming months, the spreading of the seedlings will yield more sound sequences, for each kernel, once it roots, takes on a life of its own.
